Premiering on Channel 4 at the turn of the millennium, Dom Joly prank show Trigger Happy TV didn’t take long to infiltrate the cultural zeitgeist. Whether it was the loud man with the massive mobile phone or the disgruntled park keeper convinced that park users were up to no good, the show’s various characters unleashed chaos on unsuspecting members of the public to an indie soundtrack of Elastica, Pulp and Flock Of Seagulls.
Following a screening of two episodes from the series, star Dom Joly and director Sam Cadman will be on hand to talk about their memories of the show, including an ill-advised American remake
