The story of a young boy from a working class family in South Yorkshire who, whilst dealing with a difficult home and school life, and on the cusp of adulthood, finds his own solace and fulfilment by raising and training a Kestrel. Set amongst the backdrop of a mining community and gritty streets this 1969 coming of age drama was ranked No.7 in the BFI Top Ten British films.
David Bradley will be joining us for a Q+A and meet and greet following the screening to talk about his memories of being part of this beautiful classic.
