Adolescence had everyone talking—from social media buzz to kitchen table conversations, even to the houses of Parliament. Hailed as one of the most powerful pieces of UK storytelling in recent years, it broke ground not just in content, but in craft. Stephen Graham and his team’s bold choice to film each one-hour episode in a single take created an unflinching, immersive experience—allowing the actors to fully inhabit their roles and the story to unfold with raw realism.
But beyond the performances, one question echoed: how did they do it? The seamless execution became a character in itself. Forward Film & Television Festival are thrilled to welcome key members of the crew to reveal how this extraordinary production came to life.
