No Worries If Not
No Worries If Not! is a comedy short following a day in the life of a people pleaser.
It tells the story of Grace, a lifelong addict of people pleasing, who prefaces every request with the sentence too many of us are familiar with – “no worries if not!” – usually with several exclamation marks.
Her boundary-less, self-sacrificing behaviour is paired with a bitter, resentful inner monologue which highlights the disparity between what we say and how we actually feel. Whist this begins with a polite work email, we see how people pleasing can snowball into self destruction.
